So Avatar is my new obsession and of the het pairings in that show THIS IS MY FAVOURITE OH MY GOD I BAWLED D=

Uh. Anyway.

I want to draw something nice that does these two justice, and this isn't it. However, this is the draft for that picture I hope to do.

I need to draw people kissing more -- I need the practice -_-

Drawn quickly with a tablet, hence sketchiness and... not-goodness. Also, Sokka looks more girly than Yue does. WHOOPS.

To be scrapped when I finish the nice version =D

This is quite lovely. I actually like the sketchy. And it's no big deal if Sokka looks girlier than Yue, my friend (whose love of Sokka is only eclipsed by her love of Iroh) says Sokka hasn't had a single girlfriend prettier than he is.

Since you say critiques are welcome I'm just going to say the dip just before the bridge of Sokka's nose and the bridge of his nose itself needs to come out a little bit more. His brow is a little short there. I always find it helpful to draw both entire faces when drawing people kissing, and then erase the overlapped bits, so that I have the right proportion.

Critiques are, indeed, very welcome!

Thanks for the advice on Sokka's profile -- I do generally draw everything in and then erase later, like you said, when doing kisses. I'll redraw the profile in the next draft and try to tweak it.

And, well, I'm a confessed Sokka fangirl. XD But I do think Yue is very lovely, and I want to draw just here eventually, because she has such a nice character design.

And yes, this is a draft. I hope to keep improving it and eventually turn it into a finished piece, possibly adding in torsos and hopefully a background. I hope you enjoy that when I finish it!

Ah, I love this pairing.

Don't be silly, this does the couple justice very well, and I'm still getting over the fact that this was a doodle.
